DINING
The Boudreau Restaurant -
French colonial style fine dining restaurant with more
relaxed dining for breakfast and lunch. Named after
Walter Boudreau, the legendary schooner captain who
first sailed into the bay and built the first hotel
fifty years ago, the restaurant will be elegant with
Boudreau memorabilia and historical pictures.
The Coffee Dock -
European style coffee shop serving breakfast and all
day pizzas and sandwiches. Outdoor seating with umbrellas
around the dinghy dock on the edge of the inner bay.

Hurricane Hole
Bar - The original bar, famous
among yachtspersons worldwide. All the original
harbour lights, barrels and signage have
been renovated and retained. Fabulous view
of the bay. Part of the Discovery resort
and right above the dinghy dock.
Pink Snail Bar -
Hot cocktail bar, themed around the original
Dr Dolittle movie which was filmed right here
forty years ago. Featuring a pink glass and
resin bar, state of the art lighting by Sharon
Marston and cutting edge, big city design.

The Baguet Shop -
Café and patisserie in the pretty courtyard.
Savour your freshly baked croissant and cappuccino
whilst watching the yachts dance on the waves.
The
Marina Village – The Marina
Village bar and restaurant will be opening shortly
with a wondrous view overlooking the bay.
Dotted around the bay, there are a number of
lively local cafes and bars.

THE
LAPLI SPA
Discovery’s Lapli Spa reflects the Caribbean blues and greens of
the sky and the ocean with extensive use of glass and soft aqua colors.
Lapli means both rain and blessings in the Creole language and there
are plenty of treatments on the spa menu to quench your body’s
thirst for pampering. Apart from the Vichy spa wetroom there is a full
range of massage and beauty therapies, using a mix of up-market all natural
products and local treatments that make extensive use of aloe vera, hibiscus,
cactus, seamoss, banana and other locally grown fruit and herbs.
Each treatment room has its own private deck with an open-air shower.
Or you can have your threatment au naturel in one of the resort’s
Zen garden massage cabanas following a relaxing soak in a Japanese-style
ofuru wooden soaking tub.
The Discovery Beauty Salon offers
hair styling services, manicures and pedicures.

Climbing - St Lucia
is mountainous and there are hills and mountains to climb ranging
from challenging climbs requiring some mountaineering experience
to steep walks, all with wonderful views.
Bird Watching and Fish Watching -
Marigot has a wide variety of bird species and the
inner bay is teeming with a wide variety of fish.
Beach - the famous
sand spit is a couple of hundred yards across the bay from
The Marina Village. There’s a little shuttle ferry going
constantly to and fro.

ENTERTAINMENT
Marigot Bay bars and restaurants offer a great variety of music, from reggae
and jazz to traditional Creole folk tunes. At the Discovery Resort visitors
can enjoy dancing under the stars in the palm garden or other entertainment
such as traditional folk dancers and musicians.
